first_img Arnold Schwarzenegger is returning for Terminator: Dark Fate and he is excited for his upcoming role in the new film.At a San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) panel on Thursday, Schwarzenegger discussed how the Terminator franchise was “life-changing” and gave fans a small preview of his reunion with Linda Hamilton, the actress who plays Sarah Connor in Terminator: Dark Fate, Entertainment Weekly reported.“Of course I need to come back, I’m addicted to Terminator,” Schwarzenegger explained at the panel. “Terminator was the movie that really launched my action movie career…From that moment on, everything has changed in my life.”Fans weren’t sure how Schwarzenegger’s character, T-800, would fit into director Tim Miller’s storyline, however, new footage shown at the SDCC panel teased some key details.Arnold Schwarzenegger was constantly quoting himself on the set of #TerminatorDarkFate and yells “Get to the Chopper!” for #SDCC fans— Variety (@Variety) July 18, 2019In the footage, Dani (Natalia Reyes), Grace (Mackenzie Davis), and Sarah (Hamilton), arrive at a cabin where Sarah suddenly finds the Terminator, who was once supposed to end her life. Now, the Terminator is going by the name of “Carl,” and Sarah tells him, “I’m never going to f—ing call you Carl.” Sarah makes a promise to kill him. He replies, “Understood.”Schwarzenegger also added that he couldn’t wait for Terminator: Dark Fate to hit theaters, considering it’s been a while since him and Hamilton were on the big screen together, SYFY Wire noted.“I feel very indebted to Jim Cameron to creating this character and movies. And I’m so happy that he’s part of this one again,” he added. “And that he and Linda came back…I think that you will all be surprised with this movie because it has come out unbelievable.
