Woman robs Umpqua Bank on Fourth Plain

first_imgNo one was hurt in a Wednesday afternoon robbery reported at an Umpqua Bank branch of Fourth Plain Boulevard, but the robber was still at-large.Vancouver police officers responded to a call from the bank, at 3301 E. Fourth Plain Blvd., shortly after 1 p.m.Police spokeswoman Kim Kapp said a short-haired woman wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt entered the bank, presented a note to the teller, then left with the cash.Kapp said no weapons were seen or implied during the robbery.Emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian indicated the woman drove away heading west on Fourth Plain in a small, blue pickup with a white canopy and Oregon license plates.The subject had not been located, although officers are still out looking, Kapp said.last_img
