Amaravati: The meet of YSRCP Kapu MLAs with Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has concluded. In the meeting, the leaders have formed the ‘Tri-sabhya’ committee over the Kapu reservation issue. Minister Kurasala Kannababu, Ummareddy, and Ambati Rambabu were appointed as members of the committee. This committee will conduct a study on Kapu reservation and the Central law and the steps that to be taken in the future. Also Read – Three of a family commits suicide at Amalapuram in East Godavari Advertise With Us During the meeting, CM YS Jagan has brought up the center’s letter to the state government, written on April 4, seeking the state’s attitude towards the Kapu reservation. In the letter, the Centre referred to the decision of inclusion of Kapus into BC list and 5% reservation for Kapus in the OBC category. The leaders said that the Centre had sought clarity on whether the State takes back the decision of including Kapus in the BC list. They added that former CM Chandrababu Naidu has not replied to the letter.
